TASS: Moscow Open to Russia-US-China Summit

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Sunday that Moscow does not rule out a trilateral meeting between the presidents of Russia, the United States, and China, according to the state news agency TASS.

However, Ryabkov stated the agenda must be clarified before preparations for the meeting can begin.

“Here, the main question boils down to how the substance of the meeting will be formulated, and what we can expect as a result”, he added.

Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov had already acknowledged earlier this month the possibility of a meeting between Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Xi Jinping at the November Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shenzhen, China.
