AfD Leader: We Will Talk to Any Sensible Partner

Germany's far-right AfD is ready to negotiate with any reasonable party with which it can find common ground on political issues, party co-chair Alice Weidel said after the AfD scored a significant victory in Sunday's state elections in Saxony-Anhalt, according to exit polls. The party won 44.5% of the vote, while the second-place center-right CDU won only 18.5%.

“That is the mandate from the voters; that is what they expect of us”, Weidel told broadcaster ARD.
