Reform UK Gets Another £36m from Second Billionaire

The British party Reform UK received donations totaling £72m ($97.4m) within 48 hours. Following a record donation of £36m ($48.7m) from cryptocurrency entrepreneur Ben Delo, billionaire Christopher Harborne, one of the party's biggest supporters, also donated the same amount to the party.

Harborne said a sense of competitiveness also motivated him to match the record donation. He also claims that, in his view, Reform UK and its leader Nigel Farage best understand what steps are needed for Britain's economic recovery.

These two exceptionally large payments significantly bolster Reform UK's financial resources as it prepares for the next general election.

In just two days, the party has raised a sum that could enable it to significantly expand its election campaign, organizational capacity and political presence in the country.
