Russian Strikes Hit Kyiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia

Russian airstrikes hit Kyiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia early Thursday, damaging residential buildings and other infrastructure.

In the Ukrainian capital, 10 people were injured, according to city authorities. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said debris fell on residential buildings, warehouses and near a gas station. A Reuters witness heard explosions across the city.

In the Black Sea port city of Odesa, a Russian strike hit a 19-story apartment building, injuring three people, including a child.

Three more people were reported injured in Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine, where a missile strike also sparked a fire at an industrial facility.
