Gerhard Papke
Gerhard Papke (born 1961) served as Chairman of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) parliamentary group in the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament from 2005 to 2012, before becoming Vice President of the parliament from 2012 to 2017. Since 2019, he has served as President of the German-Hungarian Society in the Federal Republic of Germany. He is also active as a publicist and political commentator. Papke lives in Koenigswinter near Bonn, Berlin, and Budapest.
