Deliveries of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine will destroy our relations, Putin warned the US

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine by the United States would destroy relations between Russia and the US. “This would lead to the destruction of our relations, or at least the positive trends that are emerging in these relations,” he said.

Earlier this week, Russia responded by stating that military specialists are monitoring possible deliveries of American Tomahawk long-range missiles to Ukraine, but that this would not change the situation on the battlefield.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was important to understand whether the United States or Ukraine would provide data on the targets for firing these missiles.

According to Vice President JD Vanca on September 28, the US government is considering Kiev's request for the delivery of Tomahawk missiles with a range of about 2,500 kilometers. This is a weapon that would significantly expand Ukraine's striking power.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is said to have asked on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that the US sell the missiles to European countries, which would then forward them to Ukraine.

According to Vanca, the final decision will be made by US President Donald Trump.
Trump has rejected Ukraine's requests for long-range missiles in the past.
