The hostages from Gaza will soon be home, and the US will not send troops to the region
According to the Israeli government, the release of all 20 living hostages from Gaza is to begin on Monday, with all of them to be handed over at once.
Israel is also prepared to take possession of the bodies of 28 dead hostages. The release of Palestinian prisoners will only take place after the hostages have been handed over.
US Vice President JD Vance confirmed that the US is not planning any military intervention in the region and that the deployment of ground troops in Gaza or Israel is not under discussion.
Vance also confirmed that the release of the hostages from Gaza is “only a matter of time.”
