Zelenskyy and Trump discussed defense and energy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on another conversation with US President Donald Trump, the second in the last two days.

They discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defense, the country's resilience, and long-term military capabilities.

Zelensky said that the two leaders also discussed energy and would prepare further talks at the level of their teams. However, Trump is hesitant to supply Tomahawk missiles until he has a clear idea of their intended use, as he does not want to exacerbate tensions.

The Kremlin expressed serious concerns about a possible delivery of these missiles, which Russia believes would dramatically intensify the conflict and lead to further escalation.
