Prince Andrew wrote to Epstein: “We're all in this together,” he claimed in a message

Prince Andrew is facing a new wave of criticism after British media published an email from 2011 in which he writes to Jeffrey Epstein: “We are all in the same boat.” The message was sent one day after the publication of a well-known photo of Andrew with Virginia Giuffre, writes the daily newspaper The Guardian.

The prince had previously claimed that he had broken off contact with Epstein in 2010. However, the email suggests otherwise and also contains the greeting: “Don't worry about me! Let's stay in touch and play together again soon.”

He signs off with “HRH The Duke of York.” The email also appeared in court documents in the case of former Barclays CEO Jes Staley.

Epstein was convicted of sex crimes in 2008 and died in custody in 2019.

At the same time, it emerged that he had visited Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2002 on the recommendation of Peter Mandelson, further fueling controversy over his connections to the elite.
