Pezeshkian: Tehran will rebuild its nuclear facilities with greater glory

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that “Tehran will rebuild its nuclear facilities with greater glory.” At the same time, he emphasized that the country does not intend to produce nuclear weapons.

This statement follows extensive air strikes by the US and Israel on the Iranian nuclear and missile facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan in early 2025. Although these attacks slowed uranium enrichment and damaged infrastructure, Iran still has considerable potential to resume its nuclear program, according to the Washington Post.

Pezeshkian described the US and Israeli airstrikes as a “serious betrayal of diplomacy” and emphasized that these actions had negatively impacted the prospects for peace in the region.
