Robot danced for Putin, security guard didn't let him near the president

A Russian humanoid robot Green performed a dance for President Vladimir Putin at Sberbank's technology exhibition. The robot, equipped with artificial intelligence, presented itself to Putin as "the physical embodiment of technology" and then danced to his favourite song.

Putin described his performance as "very beautiful". However, security remained on high alert - one of the bodyguards prevented the robot from approaching the president after the performance.

According to Sberbank, Green has the potential to perform physical tasks and will be tested in a pilot deployment. The event came just days after the fiasco of another Russian robot that fell at the presentation.

Putin also toured the new ATM, which in addition to financial services will also provide a quick health check. He revealed that his checkup turned out fine.
