Negotiations between Ukraine and the US are over. Rubio described them as productive

The meeting between U.S. and Ukrainian leaders in Florida on Sunday was "very productive," U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, adding that much work remains to be done to end the war in Ukraine.

There are many variables, he said, and, of course, there is another side involved that will have to be part of the equation. Negotiations are expected to resume no later than next week when Special Envoy Steve Witkoff travels to Moscow. "We've been in contact to varying degrees with the Russian side as well, so we understand their position quite well," Rubio explained to reporters.
