Threats of tariffs from the US provoked a sharp reaction from Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron reacted sharply to Donald Trump's comments suggesting the possibility of imposing tariffs on Europe in connection with Greenland. Macron called this unacceptable and added that if the threats are confirmed, Europe will respond in a unified and coordinated manner.

According to him, this is not just an isolated problem, but a broader stance that also affects other areas, including Ukraine. He stressed that no intimidation will stop the West, whether it comes from Greenland, Ukraine, or any other part of the world.

These statements were made on Saturday evening on Platform X, with Macron clearly opposing Trump's methods of pressure.

According to him, tariff threats have no place in the current context and will be confronted collectively by Europe if necessary.
