Politico: Fico said in Brussels that he is concerned about Trump's mental state

According to the White House, these are false reports from anonymous European diplomats. The Slovak prime minister has also denied the allegations.

The Slovak prime minister told EU leaders at last week's summit that his meeting with Donald Trump had surprised him with the US president's state of mind, five European diplomats familiar with the conversation told Politico.

Two of the diplomats said Fico was concerned about the US president's "mental state" because he appeared "dangerous" during their private meeting at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida on January 17.

The conversation between Fico and his European partners took place in Brussels on January 22 on the sidelines of an extraordinary EU summit convened in response to Trump's threats to seize Greenland.

The Slovak prime minister later mocked the summit as a "super-expensive dinner" in a video filmed on a government plane. He repeated his call for the replacement of European diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas, because US Secretary of State Marco Rubio repeatedly refused to meet with her.
