Iran arrests hundreds accused of aiding enemy attacks
Iran has detained 500 people accused of sharing information with enemies, the country’s police chief said on Sunday.
According to Ahmadreza Radan, about half of the cases allegedly involved serious incidents. These included, for example, ‘people who provided information to strike targets, and individuals who filmed the sites of attacks and sent the footage.’
Iranian media had earlier reported on Sunday that dozens of people had been arrested in several regions.
