UAE Air Defenses Hit by Iranian Drone and Missile Attacks

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) defense ministry said on Tuesday that its air defenses were facing drone and missile attacks from Iran, marking the second consecutive day of strikes after four weeks of relative calm following the US-declared ceasefire.

The UAE foreign ministry said in a statement that the incidents represent a serious escalation and a direct threat to state security. The Emirates reserved the "full and legitimate right" to respond.

On Monday evening, the UAE said its air defenses were facing missile and drone threats while firefighters battled a blaze in a major oil industry zone following a drone strike that authorities said originated in Iran.
