Magyar Hopes to Meet Zelensky in June

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Wednesday that he hopes ongoing talks with Ukraine over the rights of the Hungarian minority will conclude successfully, paving the way for a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky in western Ukraine in June.

Speaking at a press conference in Poland alongside Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Magyar said Ukraine has the right to defend its territorial integrity “by all possible means”. He added that the war should end as soon as possible and that any peace settlement must include international guarantees.
