Iranian Parliament Considers €50m Reward for Killing Trump
Iran’s parliament is drafting a bill that would offer a 50 million euro reward for the killing of US President Donald Trump, according to the Jerusalem Post. The newspaper reported that lawmakers were preparing to vote on a proposal entitled Countermeasures by the Military and Security Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Tehran has framed the measure as retaliation for US and Israeli strikes on the Iranian capital in February 2026, which killed Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, and another senior politician, Ali Larijani.
The list of targets also includes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Brad Cooper, according to Iranian officials. Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of Iran’s National Security Commission, said that “the president of the United States must be held accountable”.
The threats come as Trump has suspended planned strikes on Iran and raised the possibility of further negotiations. The Israeli military, however, said it “continues to prepare all options” to achieve its goals.
