Zelensky Says Ukraine “Never Been a Threat” to Belarus

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanovskaya on Tuesday. According to Kyiv, the meeting focused on Russia’s efforts to draw Belarus deeper into the war against Ukraine.

“Ukraine has never been a threat to Belarus. And we are grateful to those Belarusians who stand by Ukraine now, when the fate of our independence and the independence of every nation neighboring Russia is being decided”, Zelensky wrote on the social media platform X after the meeting.
