Ukraine: Drone Campaign Is Disrupting Russian Fuel Supplies

Ukraine’s campaign against Russian logistics and energy infrastructure is beginning to have visible effects, Kyiv said, after Russian authorities in occupied Sevastopol temporarily restricted gasoline sales because fuel tankers had failed to reach the Crimean city.

Russian-appointed Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev urged residents not to gather at gas stations and said emergency services, public transport and municipal services would have priority for refueling.

The restrictions followed a series of Ukrainian strikes on logistics hubs, including the port of Mariupol and bridge links between Crimea and Russian-occupied parts of southern Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian drones were now capable of hitting targets deep behind Russian lines. The attacks have also affected Russia’s Krasnodar region, where authorities have reported fires and damage near oil facilities.
