Gabbard Reveals US Bio Labs Across the Globe

Outgoing US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released new evidence that the US government has long funded more than 120 bio labs in more than 30 countries. The labs include facilities in Ukraine, which may be at risk of compromise as a result of the ongoing conflict, according to a press release from her office.

The intelligence community has previously warned that a US-funded bio lab in Ukraine was likely harboring dangerous pathogens and remained vulnerable to Russian attack, occupation or damage.

Until now, evidence of the full existence, funding, history and location of these labs had been deliberately concealed "by powerful people falsely, claiming that they do not exist and accusing anyone who says otherwise to be foreign assets and traitors to America", the statement said.

Many of the labs are currently conducting, or have in the past conducted, research using dangerous and highly contagious pathogens, in some cases including gain-of-function research, with very little transparency or oversight, according to Gabbard.

"President Trump understands the serious threat dangerous Gain-of-Function research poses to the American people, which is why he took decisive action on May 25, 2025, signing EO 14292 to end federal funding of Gain-of-Function research around the world", the statement reads.

Gabbard also issued new guidance to the intelligence community ordering increased information gathering on the labs and facilities abroad.

"This directive is already providing new details on clinical trials that are underway at these facilities, raising significant ethical, financial, and security concerns regarding these supposed public health initiatives and U.S. national security", the statement concludes.
