Trump Warns of Renewed Strikes If Iran Fails to Comply
US President Donald Trump has said the preliminary agreement with Iran is not yet final and that Washington may resume bombing if it is dissatisfied with Tehran's compliance or conduct.
Speaking on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France, Trump said the document is for now only a memorandum of understanding and confirmed that it does not include the immediate lifting of sanctions against Iran.
He described the framework agreement as very strong and said he believed financial markets had reacted positively to it, adding that a failure of the negotiations could have serious economic consequences.
Trump also predicted a further decline in oil prices, which were trading near three-month lows on Wednesday.
