Russia Tries to Jam Starlink and Hide Military Supplies
The Russian military is adopting new defensive measures to reduce the effectiveness of Ukrainian drone strikes deep behind the front lines.
According to commanders of Ukrainian drone units, Russian forces are hiding military supplies in civilian vehicles, using secondary roads and deploying powerful electronic warfare systems to jam the Starlink satellite network, which Ukraine relies on to control most of its medium-range drones.
Ukrainian forces say they have identified several Russian jamming systems – including Volna, Kupol and Garant – which have subsequently become targets of Ukrainian strikes.
According to analysts, Ukraine's long-range drone campaign has become one of the war's most significant innovations, disrupting Russian logistics, supply routes and air defenses.
However, experts warn that a further expansion of Russia's electronic warfare capabilities could significantly reduce the effectiveness of future Ukrainian drone operations.
