Iran Hits US Bases in Kuwait and Bahrain

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they had carried out missile and drone attacks on US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to overnight US strikes.

In a statement carried by Iranian state television IRIB, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had struck “key infrastructure and facilities” at US bases in Arifjan and Ali Al Salem in Kuwait, as well as Juffair and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain.

The IRGC warned Washington that if the US repeated its attacks, Iran’s response would expand to other American bases in the Persian Gulf region.

It was not immediately clear what damage the attacks had caused or whether there were any casualties.
