Venezuela Earthquake Death Toll Rises to 4,333

The death toll from the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela on 24 June has risen to 4,333, according to National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez. He also announced that the distribution of housing for those affected by the disaster will begin next week.

He noted that 315 victims have not yet been identified.

The official number of injured remained unchanged at 16,740. Rescue workers have rescued 6,462 people, and approximately 17,000 people have been left homeless.
