Wall Street May Gain Express Access to Trump's Posts

Trump Media plans to monetize fast access to President Donald Trump's posts on the Truth Social platform. The new Truth API service is designed to deliver the president's posts to financial institutions a few milliseconds earlier than to regular users, potentially offering a significant advantage in stock market trading.

According to Reuters, the company is negotiating a monthly fee of up to $100,000, with a discounted rate of $60,000 for long-term contracts.

Critics, including Democratic Senators Ron Wyden and Elizabeth Warren, have raised ethical concerns, noting that Trump's statements often influence financial markets and that the president also holds an indirect stake in the company. While experts describe the model as controversial, they note that based on available information, it is not clear whether it is illegal.

Truth API is set to launch on 1 August.
