Ukrainian Units Told to Film Pro-Syrskyi Videos
Claims have emerged in Ukraine that brigade commanders were instructed to record public videos in support of Oleksandr Syrskyi, commander in chief of the armed forces.
The information was disclosed by Serhiy Sternenko, a volunteer and former advisor to the defense minister, and sources within the military cited by the Ukrainska Pravda news portal confirmed that such an order had indeed been issued.
According to available information, the commanders were supposed to publish the videos on the same day, with the brigades' communications teams handling their production.
Sternenko also claims that soldiers who fail to comply with the directive face disciplinary action, although this claim has not been independently verified.
The report comes amid a reorganization of the defense ministry. Following the dismissal of Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, protests continue in Kyiv and other cities, with participants demanding his reinstatement and the resignation of Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi.
