Fire Reported at Roscosmos Research Center

A fire at the research center of the Russian space agency Roscosmos in the city of Korolev, near Moscow, has been extinguished, according to the state news agency TASS, citing emergency services.

The fire broke out at the Central Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Roscosmos's main research facility.

Preliminary findings indicate that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring. No casualties or injuries were reported.
