Russian Attacks Near Kyiv Kill Three, Including a Child

Three people, including a child, were killed in Russian attacks near the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on Saturday, a local official said.

Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv regional administration, said strikes hit three locations in the Boryspil district, not far from the capital. Three other people were injured.

In Kyiv itself, fires broke out in two city districts after an air raid alert was issued, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Reuters witnesses heard several loud explosions that shook the city center.
