Joe Biden's Cancer Spreading, Hunter Biden Says
Former US President Joe Biden's prostate cancer has spread from his bones to other parts of his body and is causing him severe pain, his son Hunter Biden said in an interview with the BBC's Newsnight program.
“The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further. It’s very painful and it’s very debilitating in many respects”, Hunter Biden said.
On Saturday, a spokesperson for the 83-year-old Democrat declined to comment on Hunter’s remarks.
Biden announced his diagnosis in May 2025, less than four months after leaving the White House, describing it at the time as an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had spread to his bones.
His spokesperson reported in October that the former president was undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment. Biden last appeared in public in June at the opening of the Barack Obama Presidential Library in Chicago.
