Taylor Swift's Music Disappears from Trump Campaign

Some of Taylor Swift's songs have disappeared from videos posted on US President Donald Trump's and the White House's social media accounts. The reason for the removal is not yet known, and neither the White House nor the singer's representatives have commented on the situation.

Over the past week, Trump's campaign has used two Taylor Swift songs in its videos, including a post referencing her well-known hits and addressing topics such as immigration and the Joe Biden administration. In June, the campaign also used one of the singer's new songs in a video celebrating the president.

Swift has long been a critic of Donald Trump. In the 2024 presidential election, she endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, and as early as the 2020 campaign, she stated that Trump was “WELL AWARE we do not want him as our president”.

The Republican has repeatedly retaliated against her support with sharp attacks on social media.

She is not the only artist whose work has appeared in Trump's campaign materials. Dozens of artists, including Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande, have already called on the administration not to use their music without permission.
