Zelensky: Russia Could Get 50,000 North Korean Troops

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claims that between 30,000 and 50,000 North Korean soldiers are to be deployed to Russia, a higher estimate than in July, when he spoke of approximately 30,000 soldiers.

Zelensky did not specify the source of this new figure. He also stated that Kyiv had discovered North Korean missiles on Ukrainian territory, warning that Pyongyang is thus gaining experience in modern warfare and may be receiving military technology from Russia.

Ukraine is therefore calling for closer cooperation with South Korea, particularly regarding the supply of air defense systems, which it lacks.

According to Zelensky, Kyiv is also prepared to discuss cooperation in the field of drones. According to estimates, North Korea has already deployed approximately 14,000 troops to the Kursk region and supplied Russia with millions of rounds of artillery and mortar ammunition, ballistic missiles and rocket launchers.
