Russia Struck Ukraine with North Korean Missiles

Russia launched large-scale attacks on Ukraine overnight, using North Korean ballistic missiles, Zircon missiles and guided aerial bombs, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by Politico.

The worst damage was reported in Zaporizhzhia, where six people were killed and at least 19 were injured. Four apartment buildings and other structures were damaged. The attacks also struck Kyiv, where a hospital and businesses were damaged and at least one person was injured.

According to Zelensky, Moscow also attacked power substations in Kherson and Kharkiv, causing power outages. Strikes were also reported in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions.

Zelensky said that Russia’s increasing production of ballistic missiles, North Korean military equipment and preparations for mobilization point more toward further escalation than toward peace.
