Drone Strike Halts Operations at Russian Grain Terminal
One of Russia's largest grain export terminals suspended operations after an overnight Ukrainian drone strike damaged facilities at the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, industry sources told Reuters.
The Novorossiysk Grain Products Complex has halted operations while the extent of the damage is assessed, according to one source familiar with the situation, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.
Demetra Holding, which owns the terminal, confirmed that the facility had been damaged but declined to provide further details.
The attack also reportedly forced another major grain terminal at the port, NKHP, to suspend operations, underscoring the growing impact of Ukrainian strikes on Russia's Black Sea export infrastructure.
