NATO Addresses Violations of Members' Airspace

NATO ambassadors met Wednesday to discuss recent violations of Polish and Romanian airspace, as well as a series of drone incidents.

Allied representatives voiced full solidarity with the affected countries, attributing responsibility for the violations to Russia and describing them as dangerous and unacceptable. The incidents, they said, also point to Moscow's growing willingness to take risks.

NATO said it would continue strengthening its integrated air and missile defense, highlighting measures taken to bolster security along the eastern flank, from the Baltic to the Black Sea.

The Alliance also reaffirmed its readiness to deter any aggression and, if necessary, defend against it.
