Charlie Kirk's wife gave her first public speech on Friday since the tragic event in which her husband was murdered during an event at Utah Valley University. The recording was broadcast by several media outlets, including Fox News.
Her words were filled with pain, but also with unwavering willpower and determination to carry on his legacy, which was an inspiration to her. They fought together for the values they believed in.
She stood in front of the empty chair where Charlie had recorded his podcast and began her speech with a silent prayer, thanking everyone who had tried to save her husband's life, as well as President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vanca, and many others for their support.
She emphasized that her husband's mission and voice would not disappear, but on the contrary, would be spread more strongly than ever. “The movement my husband built will not die,” she said. “His name will never disappear from people's minds, I will make sure of that. His voice will echo clearer and louder, and his wisdom will live on.”
