Trump and tens of thousands of people in the US pay tribute to Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist and founder of the organization Turning Point USA, will be honored on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with a memorial service at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Tens of thousands of people have gathered, including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, who will speak at the event.

Kirk was murdered on September 10 during a Turning Point USA campaign event at Utah Valley University. Trump had previously highlighted Kirk's enormous influence on young conservatives, who loved him dearly and were deeply affected by his loss.

According to information from Fox News, in addition to Trump and Vance, other prominent conservative leaders and government officials such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, and others will participate as speakers at the event. Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, who has taken over the leadership of Turning Point USA, will also speak.

The memorial service, titled “Building a Legacy: Remembering Charlie Kirk,” will be held in a stadium with a capacity of up to 73,000, with thousands more enthusiasts gathering in the surrounding areas.

The event required heightened security measures, similar to those taken at major sporting events.

Charlie Kirk was a prominent figure who mobilized young people around conservative values, even if his comments on various issues sometimes sparked controversy.
