Moscow reports “terrorist attack” in Crimea – Kiev remains silent

Three people were killed and 16 others injured in an attack by a Ukrainian drone on the Foros resort area in Crimea. This was announced by Sergey Aksyonov, the Moscow-appointed head of the peninsula, which Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, it was a “terrorist attack” on a civilian target where there were no military objects. The ministry said the drones were carrying explosives that caused explosions and fires.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned the incident. “NATO and the European Union must look in the mirror to find the aggressor on the European continent. They are the ones destabilizing and spreading terrorism in Europe by supporting the Kiev regime and supplying it with weapons,” she told the TASS news agency.
Kiev has not officially commented on the attack; the information could not be independently verified.

According to Aksyonov, local buildings, including a school, were also damaged, and debris from drones caused fires near Yalta. Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev added that air defenses shot down three more drones.
