Broad alliance increases pressure on Israel: Gaza health corridor demanded

More than 20 countries, including Slovakia, have called for the reopening of a medical corridor between the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank so that patients from Gaza can receive the necessary treatment.

In a joint statement released by the Canadian government, these states also offered financial assistance, medical personnel, and equipment for the treatment of patients directly in the West Bank.

The statement was signed by the foreign and development ministers of 22 countries, including Slovakia, Austria, Germany, and Italy.

They are increasing pressure on Israel to restore the medical corridor, allow medical evacuations, and lift restrictions on the delivery of medicines and equipment to Gaza.

At the same time, they call on Israel to ensure the safe and unrestricted movement of medical personnel.
