Trump announces breakthrough in the Middle East, meeting with Netanyahu imminent

US President Donald Trump claims that there is a “real chance of success” in the Middle East, particularly in relation to ending the war in the Gaza Strip. Although he did not specify a concrete plan or timeline, he stated in a statement on the Truth Social platform that all parties involved are interested in a historic agreement.

Trump is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday, with the goal of establishing a framework for an agreement. According to representatives of his administration, “intensive” talks are being held with several Middle Eastern countries.

The White House chief also emphasized that both Israel and Hamas were aware of the talks and that discussions would continue until a solution was found.

His comments come just days after he hinted that an agreement was within reach.
