Trump backs Gaza agreement and expects Netanyahu's support

US President Donald Trump said his peace plan for the Gaza Strip had been well received and that he expected the support of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he plans to meet at the White House.

The US has presented a 21-point plan to end the Gaza war, which calls for the return of all hostages, an end to Israeli attacks on Qatar, and the resumption of dialogue with the Palestinians. Trump is relying on the support of several Arab states and hopes that the plan will lead to a more comprehensive peace in the Middle East.

Although Hamas says it has not seen the plan, Trump is convinced that all sides want to end the conflict.
Vice President Vance described the negotiations as “very complicated” but expressed cautious optimism.

Netanyahu hinted at the possibility of amnesty for Hamas leaders if they release the hostages.
Key points of the proposal include the return of the hostages, the elimination of the Hamas threat, and an expansion of humanitarian aid.
