Trump puts pressure on Hamas – only a few days left to accept the peace plan

US President Donald Trump has given Hamas an ultimatum—three to four days to accept the peace plan for Gaza, otherwise, according to him, a “very sad ending” threatens.

The US-backed plan, which has already been approved by Israeli and Arab leaders, calls for an immediate ceasefire, the exchange of hostages, Israel's withdrawal from Gaza, and the disarmament of Hamas. The group has not officially rejected the proposal, but has described it as “impossible” and “biased.”

Hamas is under intense pressure from Arab states and Turkey.

Trump's initiative comes at a time when the Israeli army is continuing to expand its offensive in Gaza and the Israeli public is increasing pressure to end the war.
