Attacker attacked people at Jewish synagogue in Great Britain, fatalities reported

A serious incident occurred on Thursday near the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester. According to police, a car drove into pedestrians and then knife attacks ensued.

Two people died at the scene, and according to current information, the perpetrator, who was shot by police, is also dead.

Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham described the situation as serious but assured the public that the immediate danger had passed and that security forces had acted quickly.

Emergency services are currently assessing the situation and continue to work with the police. Details about the motive for the attack have not yet been released.
