Russian attacks damage Ukrainian gas infrastructure

Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said on Tuesday that Russian air strikes had caused “significant” damage to the country's natural gas production. However, she did not provide any specific figures.

According to her, the attacks targeted regional gas infrastructure and power transmission facilities in frontline areas. She added that Ukraine was therefore considering increasing imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
