The Kremlin has confirmed the possibility that a summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump could take place in two weeks. However, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the date depends on the resolution of several diplomatic issues.

The foreign ministers of both countries, Sergey Lavrov and Marco Rubio, are working to resolve these issues.

At the same time, discussions are also underway in Washington regarding the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

The summit is expected to focus primarily on the war in Ukraine, but its specific agenda has not yet been announced. The Kremlin has signaled its willingness to negotiate, but points out that there is still “a lot of work” to be done before a final agreement can be reached.
