Zelensky travels to London for negotiations with the coalition of the willing

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit London, where a meeting of the states that have joined the “coalition of the willing” will take place on Friday. This coalition brings together countries that have pledged security guarantees and increased support for Ukraine in connection with the ongoing conflict.

Zelensky's participation was confirmed to Reuters by a source familiar with the organization of the event. According to a statement Zelensky posted on Platform X, the president has several negotiations and diplomatic meetings in Europe ahead of him this week.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that coordination of support for Ukraine would take place during Friday's meeting in London. He shared this with journalists during a working meeting of Mediterranean leaders in Slovenia.

According to Macron, the goal of the meeting is to seek further opportunities for coordinated assistance and to establish concrete security guarantees for Ukraine by international allies.
