Ukraine and Russia continue their attacks on energy infrastructure
On Friday, Ukraine attacked an oil pipeline in the Moscow region. The attack disrupted the pipeline, which transports gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel to part of the Russian Federation's capital. As a result of this attack, critical infrastructure in part of Moscow was shut down.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on the attack on the pipeline in the Moscow region. It merely stated that air defenses had shot down 98 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the night.
At the same time, Russian forces are continuing their attacks on Ukraine's energy supply. During the night, they attacked a company belonging to the Ukrainian state gas giant Naftogaz in the Poltava region. According to Ukrainian sources, Russian troops attacked Naftogaz's infrastructure eight times in October.
