US establishes global club for trade in critical minerals

The United States has launched an international initiative to enable countries to trade in critical raw materials needed for the manufacture of batteries and modern technologies. This was announced by US Interior Secretary Doug Burgum on Monday during the ADIPEC energy conference in Abu Dhabi.

The secretary explained that the club's goal is to deepen cooperation between countries in the processing and refining of these raw materials, which are essential for the clean technology industry. The US wants to strengthen the stability of supply chains and reduce dependence on individual countries.

Burgum also emphasized that Washington is committed to providing sufficient energy sources to promote technological progress and win the race for supremacy in the field of artificial intelligence.
