There's nothing to hide in the Epstein dossier, says Mike Johnson

The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, has said that the vote to release the investigative files on the Jeffrey Epstein case will help end suspicions that President Donald Trump had something to do with the financier and sexual predator.

Johnson reiterated that releasing the documents will "take the gun out of the Democrats' hands" - he said everything needs to be closed and there is no need to hide anything. Trump did maintain contact with Epstein in the distant past, but later their paths reportedly diverged.
