Tens of thousands of households are without electricity after Russia's overnight attacks

Monday's Russian attack on the Odessa region caused fires at port and power facilities, emergency services said on Monday. The attack damaged port equipment and several civilian vessels moored at the piers.

One of the ports also experienced power outages due to damaged energy infrastructure. The attack also left 36,500 households without electricity, according to Reuters.

During the same night, Russian air defenses destroyed 36 Ukrainian drones over seven Russian regions. Denis Pushilin, the top Russian official in Donetsk, said the Ukrainian drones attacked energy infrastructure and left some 500 thousand people without electricity.
